Scope of Work:  Architectural and Interior Design

An industrial and textile designer pair asked us to assist in the interior renovation of their newly purchased midcentury modern home situated near Duke University. Designed by acclaimed local architect, Donald Stewart, it had few, if any, updates when this young family purchased it from the original owners. While maintaining the original design was a priority, we modernized certain areas including a new full bathroom to accommodate their three children as well as a new laundry room and the renovation of the powder room and master bathroom. We also completed cosmetic improvements, such as removing existing wood wall paneling and installing new flooring and wall treatments. Lastly, we assisted in furnishing selections that nod to the original era of the home as well as the character of its new owners.
